This scene made me tear up the first time I saw it. I love their relationship and the fact that they were both willing to let go to save people from Katherine proves to me their aware of more than just their own wants.

 Dude, Stefan in this scene tears my heart up. I’m not good when men cry and he did it wonderfully.
